How many phone calls are you, or your reception area, successfully converting into patients?

Here are five quick tips to make sure that every call is a winner:

Greeting
You only get one chance at a first impression. Make sure callers can hear a "smile" in your voice welcoming them and putting them at ease. Be sure to introduce your practice as well as yourself.

 

Engage
Listen and respond in a helpful, positive way. The potential patient may not know as much as you, but maintain a cheerful tone and do your best to determine their needs and offer assistance.

Suggest Alternatives
If you don't offer a particular service they are asking about, consider it an opportunity to educate them. Your practice may offer alternative treatments that may provide them the same or better benefits. Consult with prospective clients.  The more you share your expertise, the more they will trust you and your practice.

Email
Ask the caller if they would like to receive more information about acupuncture, upcoming events or promotions. This is a great opportunity to send an invitation to your newsletter, social media and future marketing campaigns.
