Lung 02 (LU 2)

Yunmen, Cloud Door

Location
In the depression below the acromial extremity of the clavicle, 6 cun lateral to the Ren Mai Channel.

To find the acupuncture point, Lung 2 (LU 2), extend arm forward and apply resistance.  This will emphasize the delto-pectoral triangle.  LU 2 is located in the depression below the clavicle.

Indications
Cough, asthma, pain in the chest, shoulder and arm, fullness in the chest.


Traditional Action
Disperses fullness from the chest, stimulates the descending action of Lung Qi, stops cough.

Contraindications
Never puncture deeply towards the medial aspect of the body.
