Location
On the radial side of the index finger, distal to the metacarpal-phalangeal joint, at the junction of the red and white skin. The point is located with the finger slightly flexed.
Indications
Blurring vision, epistaxis (nosebleed), toothache, sore throat, febrile diseases.
Recent studies suggest this point increases saliva production and can be used for dry mouth or xerostomia.
Traditional Action
Clears heat, dissipates pathogenic heat, disinhibits the throat.
