About Sharon Czebotar
Sharon Czebotar is a Nationally Board Certified, Licensed Acupuncturist and Oriental Medicine Practitioner who combines her expertise in Acupuncture, Medicinal Food Programs, Herbology, Ayur-Vedic medicine, and Sound Therapy (Vibrational medicine) to assist each individual to reach his or her optimal health in a caring and compassionate environment. She holds a Clinical Doctorate (DAOM) in TCM Internal Medicine with a sub-speciality in Neurology. Sharon has been partnering with traditional medicine since 2000 to treat: oncology; infertility; pain management; autoimmune disorders; digestive disorders and women's health issues.
Sharon was senior faculty at Kairos Institute of Sound Healing for 17 years and is a Certified Therapeutic Harp Practitioner. She studied harp therapy under Christina Tourin, founder of the International Harp Therapy Program and International Harp Symphony who is world renowned for her music therapy work. She studied Vibrational Medicine under Donna Carey, founder of the Acutonics Sound Healing System. Sharon is also the U.S. and Canada distributor of the Kita Biosonic Sound and Vibration devices which was used by Mitchell Gaynor, MD with his patients. She studied Acupuncture Facial Rejuvenation under world renowned, Virginia Doran. Her Ayurvedic studies were completed thru the Maharishi Ayurvedic Physician program in Lancaster, Massachusetts where she studied under highly respected Vaidya's from India. Sharon is also a Hippocrates Health Educator and has studied under raw food and whole food pioneers Brian Clement and Anna Marie Clement of the Hippocrated Health Institute. She received advanced training in Whole Food Nutrition at Cornell. Sharon offers Medicinal Food Program Consultations both internationally and within the United States. Sharon is one of the first practitioners in the world to be certified in the Neuro-Acupuncture.
Sharon worked along side FEMA at the NYC Convention center, treating thousands of volunteers, after the 9/11 tragedy. Today, she offers free treatment to veterans, in our community, on a regular basis. Sharon also provides home visits for those who find it difficult to leave their home.
In addition to her thriving practice, Sharon is pursuing a PhD in Integrative Internal Medicine with a sub-speciality in Oncology.
Sharon currently holds active licenses in PA, NJ, NY, DC, NC, and SC. In addition to working in her private practice located in Newtown PA, she also works for Johns Hopkins in the Integrative Medicine Department located in Washington DC.
