About Shan Liang
Shan Liang, DOM, AP, Doctor of Oriental Medicine, is a Florida Licensed Acupuncture Physician certified by the National Commission for Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and as a diplomate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbology. He received his medical training at Shandong University School of Medicine, where both conventional medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine are integrated in one of the best medical schools in China.
Dr. Liang was a Medical Physician for seven years at Qian Fu Shan General Integrated Hospital, where both Western and Chinese medicine are practiced. He specializes in an integrated approach and works effectively with western medical doctors. He has great success in the treatment of spondylosis (spinal osteoarthritis), auto accident injuries, low back pain, arthritis, diabetes, asthma, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome and with hypercholesterolemia patients. Dr. Liang also worked in the State Drug court program treating addictions.
Currently, Dr. Liang provides auricular diagnosis, acupuncture, and Chinese herbal therapy at Midtown Medical Park. He specializes in Traditional Chinese Internal Medicine and successfully treats many common ailments including hypertension, insulin resistance and skeletal-muscular and neurological disorders. His philosophy is to support the integration of Western and Eastern Medicine to cultivate wellness and treat illness.
