About Lisa Thorborg
It is very rewarding to me to help people improve their health and well-being with acupuncture, herbal medicine, stress reduction techniques, dietary advice and lifestyle recommendations. My background is in Western medicine. Before my acupuncture studies I worked as a physical therapist for 18 years in hospital as well as private practice settings. I feel fortunate to be able to offer a combination of Eastern and Western medicine in my practice.
I am trained in Qigong, Massage, and Shiatsu. I am also a Reiki master, and I have been practicing Transcendental Meditation for 29 years. I see my patient-relationship as a partnership where we work together toward optimal health and vitality, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
I am very honored to get the opportunity to help people heal by promoting balance and a smooth flow of energy in the body.
