About Laura Coleson
Laura has been practicing Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine since 1994. She is a Licensed Acupuncturist, national board certified by the National Commission for Certification of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (Dipl. Ac. NCCAOM). She is also a Certified Chinese Herbalist and Certified Animal Acupuncturist in the state of Maryland, as well as a Certified Hypnotist with the National Guild of Hypnotists, and a Certified HypnoSomatic Acupuncturist. She practices Five Element Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine utilizing Acupuncture, Chinese Herbs, dietary therapy, supplement recommendations, cupping, Gua Sha, electrical stimulation, laser (LLLT), infrared therapy, microcurrent electrical stimulation, essential oils, and Hypnosis as needed.
She brings a broad background in Western Medicine and Holistic health to her practice from her years as a Nurse, Researcher, and Public Health Specialist working overseas in developing countries; and continues her studies with various leaders in the field of Chinese Medicine.
She has a family practice working with a variety of clients including men, women, children, pregnant women and pets.
