About Diane Shandor
"Diane has been my acupuncturist since 1996 and she is just terrific. She provides quality service, has a wonderful listening ear, and her downtown DC office is in a great location. I always feel absolutely great after a session with Diane and she's helped my PMS, insomnia, migraines, and general stress tremendously. I recommend her without reservation!" - Susan Messina, Birth Works International
"For years I have referred my patients who were not responding to my treatment for knee, shoulder and other injuries to Diane Shandor for acupuncture. My clients have received excellent results. They all report back to me the effectiveness of the acupuncture treatments and the caring attention they receive. In just a few sessions Diane has helped me with a painful neck problem and my son with his allergies and sports injuries. I highly recommend Diane Shandor and acupuncture treatment." Dr. Larry G. Brown, Chiropractor
Diane came to acupuncture initially as a client with chronic shoulder pain. She was so taken by the effects of acupuncture that she decided to leave her career as a writer living in Philadelphia, move to Maryland and study at the Traditional Acupuncture Institute, where she received a Master's Degree in 1994. Settling in the Washington DC area, she has created an active acupuncture practice over the last 25 years.
Diane's compassionate attitude has allowed her to build a practice that serves the amazing variety and diversity of clients in the Washington DC area.
With a lovely office one block from the Dupont Circle Metro in downtown Washington and a beautiful location in Greenbelt, MD Diane would be happy to help you with your health and well-being.
