Location
Level with the tip of Adam's apple, just on the course of the common carotid artery, on the antioer border of muscle sternocleidomastoideus.

Indications
Sore throat, asthma, goiter, dizziness, flushing of the face.

Traditional Action
Regulates Qi, removes masses, benefits the throat, relieves swellings.

Contraindications
Avoid puncturing the common carotid artery.
