Urinary Bladder 38 (UB 38)

Fuxi, Superficial Cleft

Location
1 cun above Weiyang (UB 39) on the medial side of the tendon of muscle biceps femoris. The point is located with the knee slightly flexed.

Indications
Numbness of the gluteal and femoral regions, contracture of the tendons in the popliteal fossa.

Traditional Action
Soothes the sinews and quickens the connecting vessels, quickens the blood and relieves pain, clears and disinhibits the Lower Burner.
