Location
Posterior and inferior to the mastoid process, on the posterior border of muscle sternocleidomastoideus, almost level with Tianrong (SI 17) and Tianzhu (UB 10).
Indications
Headache, neck rigidity, facial swelling, blurring of vision, sudden deafness.
Traditional Action
Clears heat and drains fire, dispels wind and eliminates damp, reduces swelling and stops pain, frees the channels and quickens the connecting vessels.
