Herbal Category: Stop Bleeding

Actions & Indications

Warms the womb and stops bleeding: used to stop prolonged menstrual and uterine bleeding, regulate the menses, and calm a restless fetus.

Dosage

3-9 g. Char to enhance warming and hemostatic properties. In its raw form it is relatively neutral and may be combined with other herbs that cool the blood.
