About Michael Boyer

The Palm Springs Acupuncture Center is a clinic for Traditional Chinese Medicine that offers treatments and remedies which are safe, natural and effective. We offer a variety of services to our patients, including individual treatment plans, acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, nutrition, and massage therapy.

Michael Boyer L.Ac. has spent over 20 years honing his skills in the healing arts. An early passion for yoga and shiatsu massage served as a springboard into the field of Chinese Medicine and, in 1995, Michael graduated from Oakland’s Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences with a Master of Science Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The past twenty years has found Michael treating thousands of patients from every walk of life and for a vast array of conditions. In addition to his invaluable experience in internal medicine, women’s health, infertility and pain management, Michael has garnered a special reputation in sports’ medicine; working with Olympic gold medalists, professional athletes, sports’ teams, and ballet companies.

His expertise is as respected by the academics as it is by his patients. As a past faculty member at the Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences in Oakland, Michael has worked as a professor of acupuncture, ethics, and practice management.
