This 22.5 CEU retreat will will be held at the gorgeous Alnoba retreat center and takes place during the peak beauty of the New England autumn. It will be an opportunity to hear about how AWB's global medicine of peace has been used around the world; in US disaster relief efforts; international relief efforts; on world healing exchange trips; in veterans clinics, refugee clinics and other community clinics in the US and internationally.
One of our special guest instructors, Thea Elijah, will incorporate her brilliant understanding of how to do service so that you recharge, rather than burnout, and much more from Thea’s wealth of teaching material.
One of our other special guest instructors, David Sharken, will share his brilliant understanding from a financial and service perspective of how to build and sustain AWB projects locally or in areas of need.
You will return home deeply inspired by the spirit of service, with renewed connection to yourself, a community of practitioners, and the earth. This training retreat is for acupuncturists and other health care providers and their partners.
The training location is set on 400 acres of fields, forests and ponds with walking paths, fire pits, art installations, and more. The homey cabins and houses are shared, with kitchens and porches.
The menus feature seasonal produce, humanely raised meats, cage-free eggs, and hormone-free dairy. The honey for your tea comes from hives just down the road, and the maple syrup on your pancakes is made from the trees right outside the center. Alnoba emphasizes fresh, local, and healthy foods that are nourishing to the body and the soul.
