About Yong Yi
Yong Hwan Yi, DiplAc., L.Ac., L.OM, graduated from The New York College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and attended postgraduate education program at Guang An Men Chinese Medicine Hospital, China Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Beijing, China, where he studied weight management, pain management (acute and chronic), post-stroke syndrome, facial rejuvenation acupuncture, and Tuina.
Advanced study of acupuncture includes Kiiko Matsumoto’s style of Japanese acupuncture, Auricuromedicine of Dr. Raphael Nogier, son of Dr. Paul Nogier who is considered as of the father of modern Auricular acupuncture.
Currently Yong Yi's efforts is much devoted to study Applied Kinesiology (AK) which is developed by late Dr. George J. Goodheart, Jr., D.C. AK is further enhanced by many other dedicated individuals and practiced by diverse medical professions throughout the world.
His acupuncture practice is based upon the traditional Korean, Chinese and Japanese medicine knowledge using Acupressure, Moxibustion, Cupping, Guasha, Auricular therapy, Tuina, Electroacupuncture and Herbal therapy incorporating Meridian Energetic, Five Elements theory.
