Barrie Hinman, L.Ac. is the owner and practitioner of Barrington Acupuncture Clinic.

After working over 30 years for large international and small local businesses Barrie pursued her profound belief in the healing powers of acupuncture and received a Masters degree in Acupuncture in 2009 from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard Illinois

In her clinic, Barrie incorporates her life long love of alternative healing methods and her Buddhist spirituality in treating her patients along with the down to earth and practical aspects of daily living. She considers the mind, emotions and spiritual well being to be important aspects in promoting physical health; she also firmly believes in working in collaboration with her patients’ physicians and other health care providers to produce the best possible result for her patients.
