About Jenny Crissman

Jenny Crissman is a licensed Acupuncturist and Herbologist. She completed her masters program and clinical training in Chinese Medicine at The Academy of Chinese Culture and Health Sciences, Oakland, CA. She currently has a private practice located in Oakland, CA. She is also a committed volunteer acupuncturist at The Charlotte Maxwell Clinic, a non-profit complimentary care clinic for women with cancer. In her private practice her areas of special interest include auto- immune disorders, women's health, emotional /psychological disorders, gastro-intestinal distress, insomnia, pain reduction and cosmetic acupuncture. During a given treatment she may choose to use acupuncture, herbal remedies, dietary recommendations and stretching/exercise suggestions to facilitate healing and balance. She always applies an integrative approach to health maintenance and prevention of disease drawing from her broad spectrum of knowledge and experience.
