About Jennifer Luan
Dr. Luan is board certified in Pediatrics and board certified in Medical Acupuncture.
Medical acupuncture is a term used to describe acupuncture performed by a medical doctor (M. D.) trained and licensed in western medicine who also has thorough training in acupuncture as a specialty practice in the following area:
- promotion and maintenance of health and well-being
- prevention of illness
- treatment of various acute and chronic medical conditions
Dr. Luan completed her medical residency at Mount Sinai School of Medicine at Jersey City Medical Center in 2000 and obtained acupuncture training at New York Medical College in 2005. She is currently practice body acupuncture, auricular acupuncture, scalp acupuncture, ankle and wrist acupuncture, electro-acupuncture and cupping from infants to seniors.
