About Deborah Farley
Acupuncture Works, LLC is Lynchburg and Central Virginia's expert in Soliman Auricular Allergy Treatment (SAAT) and Auricular Medicine. SAAT is a simple innovative technique to relieve all allergies including the meat allergy from Alpha Gal. In addition SAAT treats all allergies including food such as shellfish, peanuts, gluten.... home/environmental inlcuding dogs, cats, dust seasonal... and chemical/medication allergies such as latex, fragrances, perfumes.
Testing is non-invasive and does not include skin pricks or blood tests. Instead a form of biofeedback using the body's neurological responses is used to confirm the presence of an allergy.
The treatment process involves the insertion of a tiny 3mm needle in to the ear that is covered with non-allergienic medical adhesive and surgical glue. The needle is worn for weeks. This is the lenght of time that it takes to begin the desensitization of the allergen being treated. Complete desensitization takes place between two to five weeks from the time the needle is removed. In rare cases a follow up treatment is needed.
