About Carmen Catalano
Carmen Ciarcia-Catalano has been in private practice since 1999, and was one of the first L.Ac.'s in Connecticut to receive the Diplomate in Oriental Medicine in 2004, the highest offered by the NCCAOM. She has been on the medical staff of Hartford Hospital, Hartford, CT since 2002, and commencing in 2006 has been a preceptor at Middlesex Hospital in Middletown, CT, working with medical residents in the Andrew Weill Fellowship Program. She also was a guest instructor at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine for several years, introducing students to the art and science of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Carmen is also available for public speaking engagements on the topic of Chinese Medicine.
Carmen works extensively with pain management syndromes, co-management of oncology patients, neurology, and facial rejuvenation using medical micro-needling as well as micro-currents. She also is an herbal consultant for patients across the United States and Canada, especially in the area of integrative cancer co-management.
Although Carmen's is a fee for service practice, she would be happy to supply patients with the necessary paperwork for insurance reimbursement, or for FSA/HSA accounts. Carmen also accepts Workers Compensation patients.
