About Fei Xiao
Fei Xiao is an acupuncturist licensed by the Minnesota Board of Medical Practice, and certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Dr. Xiao received his medical degree (after 7 years of study) in traditional Chinese medicine from the Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1988. From 1988 to 1999 Dr. Xiao practiced and taught acupuncture at the First Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. In 1996 Dr. Xiao was invited to work as a senior physician at Victoria Hospital in the Seychelles by the Ministry of Health of that country; he practiced there until 1998. In 1999 the American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM), Minnesota, asked him serve as a professor, clinic instructor, and the student clinic director, a post he held until the end of 2005.
Fei Xiao founded Eternal Spring Acupuncture, Inc in Stillwater, Minnesota, in 2006, and has been working as the principle practitioner since then. In his twenty one plus years of practice, Fei Xiao has gained a reputation for the treatment of musculoskeletal disease, nervous system problems, mental-emotional disorders, gynecological disease, and the management of cancer-related symptoms. He has developed some unique therapies such as needling techniques and location of Jiaji point, electric stimulation of the Shegen point, deep needling of Qugu (RN-2) and Fengfu (DU16), comprehensive cupping combining pricking, cupping and herbs. Fei Xiao has published more than 30 articles and 26 books. He has also developed more than fifteen courses for the American Academy of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine during his work at that school. Fei Xiao is also a Continuing Education provider for the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).
