About Patricia Hallam
Hello and thank you for visiting my profile. I have been practicing acupuncture for more than 10 years and acupressure for more than 15 years, and it never ceases to amaze me how helpful these modalities can be in the treatment of a very wide range of health conditions. While I am a general practitioner and treat most conditions amenable to acupucture treatment, I also have advanced training in women's health and fertility. I enjoy working with patients who have a wide variety of health challenges from acute and chronic pain of all kinds (headaches/migraines, neck, back, knee, hip, and elbow pain, injuries from motor vehicle accidents, sprains/strains, overuse injuries such as carpal tunnel, tendinitis, TMJ, plantar fasciitis, fibromyalgia, and arthritis to name a few), to repiratory problems (cold/flu, allergies, asthma, sinus problems), digestive disorders (nausea/vomiting, acid reflux, IBS, diarrhea, constipation), stress-related illnesses (anxiety/panic attacks, depression, insomnia), women’s health issues (PMS, menstrual pain, PCOS and other menstrual disorders, fertility enhancement, morning sickness and pregnancy support, and menopausal syndrome), and alleviation of the side effects of chemotherapy in cancer treatment. In addition to Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, I combine other oriental healing arts, such as acupressure, Zen Shiatsu massage, Taoist breathing techniques and Qi Gong, to create a treatment plan tailored to the needs of each individual. I believe strongly that my role as a practitioner is simply to assist my patients in discovering and maximizing their own innate ability to heal.
