About Janet Leach, L.Ac. and Robert Rohlmeier, L.Ac.
Janet Leach, L.Ac. provides patient care and education in a supportive, gentle and peaceful atmosphere. Her compassionate manner is well-suited to working with sensitive or fearful patients and those seeking acupuncture for the first time. She takes time to understand each patient’s needs and concerns, and explains the available treatment options.
Integrating conventional medicine with Traditional Chinese Medicine is one of Janet’s goals, and she recognizes that each healing system has its unique strengths. When they are combined, the healing process is enhanced. Janet asks patients to take an active role in their healing process, so they will have the tools and understanding they need to maintain health.
Janet received her master’s degree from the Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine in 1999 and is a licensed acupuncturist in California. She holds acupuncture certification through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. She received advanced training in acupuncture orthopedics, and completed the Hepatitis C Professional Certification Program for Licensed Acupuncturists.
Robert Rohlmeier, L.Ac., LMT is an acupuncturist with 26 years of experience. His patients appreciate his thorough approach, kind manner, and gentle technique.
Robert and his wife, Jennifer, moved to the Central Coast this year after living in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho for 20 years. They longed for the sunshine and mild winters that he experienced in San Diego, his home while growing up, and also where he received his acupuncture training.
Robert has been practicing acupuncture since 1992 and has advanced training and expertise in many styles of acupuncture, providing him with effective techniques and treatment protocols. Robert is also a clinical massage therapist who offers both focused massage and full body massage treatments.
