Dr. Helen Ly has been paving her career path early on. Growing up, she cultivated an interest in medicine through teachings from their grandfather and father in Chinese medicine and preceptorship at the clinics. She completed her undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University and graduated with honors, majoring in neuroscience. She performed acupuncture research at the Children's Hospital Boston and Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA where she studied the effects of acupuncture and neuropathic pain. Helen went on to attend medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. After finishing a year of preliminary medicine at University of California, Irvine, Helen moved to Memphis, TN where she completed her training in neurology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She further pursued a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology. She is currently board-certified and practicing neurology as well as working with Alex to provide an integrative approach toward patient care.

Dr. Amy Ly was influenced at an early age by her family's tradition in Chinese medicine. She decided at a young age that she would be pursuing a career in medicine. She attained her bachelor's degree in neuroscience with honors from Vanderbilt University followed by working at Harvard Medical School's Osher Center for Integrative Medicine Institute where she investigated the effects of acupuncture on irritable bowel syndrome. She attended medical school at University of Alabama at Birmingham, during which she spent a year in China studying acupuncture and Chinese medicine at the prestigious Tsing-hua University in Beijing. Amy is currently in residency at Vanderbilt University and plans to combine Eastern and Western medicine in her future career.
