About Laurie Martin
After practicing nursing for more than a decade, my interest in health care that acknowledges and encourages the body's innate ability to health itself led me to become a Chinese medical practitioner. Since graduating with a Master's degree from American College of Traditional Chinese medicine, I have enjoyed practicing in California's northern Sonoma County, while teaching community classes for ACTCM and working towards a PhD in Classical Chinese Medicine.
An Chinese medical appointment includes a full evaluation and treatment: acupuncture, herbal medicine, moxabustion, cupping or other modalities can be used to treat each person's individual needs. I offer a safe, effective treatment in a warm and relaxed atmosphere where each client is encouraged to learn more about how to maintain wellness in their life. My goal is to work together with each client to recover and sustain optimum health
