About Jonathan Gissel
At Radiant Acupuncture my goal is to bridge the gap left by insurance coverage and community acupuncture style sliding scale clinics. I provide inclusive classical acupuncture and CranioSacral Therapy in a welcoming, safe, and compassionate environment for anyone child, adult, and elders. I believe that all people are entitled to pursue and receive care regardless of financial background. I feel that you the patient have the innate ability help find your way to health and wellness. My mission is to help facilitate your personal goal and invigorate your mind, body, and spirit to find balance.
The growing gap between fees and private specialized care has strengthened my belief in affordable, inclusive complementary health care. My belief that change starts with me has lead to the development of a blending of ideals that can work for your family and mine. I feel first by clearing the path to health through the connection of the mind and body we open the pathway for broader understanding and healing ourselves and our world wide community.
In our clinic I use Master Tung's Acupuncture points, and methods, and specialize in the combination of these with CranioSacral Therapy. I personally feel that Master Tung’s unique methods blend beautifully with the hands-on techniques of CranioSacral Therapy. His methods of utilizing the extremities open the pathway for manual and energetic mobilization of the effected area in away that amplifies both unique individual practices. I see on many occasions results that make me marvel at how the combinations of these simple systems achieve such great results in a short time.
I strive to continue to study Master Tung’s Family Style and offer it in a manner, and philosophy that I hope honors his life long dedication to helping patients regardless of their financial means to reach their health goals and improve their quality of life. In addition I help facilitate each patient’s innate ability to find balance and health through the safe healing touch of CranioSacral Therapy.
My combination of these two systems are very effective for many types of muscle and joint pain, neurological and emotional conditions, female and male reproductive issues, internal conditions, and as a non-invasive complement to traditional allopathic (western MD) treatments.
I am a provider with many insurance companies that cover Acupuncture and CranioSacral Therapy. If I am not a part of your insurance plans network of providers I offer an “a la carte” fee scale. In the spirit of Master Tung my "a la carte" fee system is inclusive, offered with no means testing, and available to anyone in search of care at fee rate that gives you the patient the ability to be an active member of your health care team. While insurance may cover a limited number of visits per calendar year my "a la carte" scale is always available and allows you and I to customize your individual course of treatment to meet your needs physically, emotionally, and financially.
