About Jingduan Yang
Dr. Jingduan Yang was an attending neurologist and psychiatrist in China and a research fellow in Clinic psycho-pharmacology at Oxford University in UK. He further completed his psychiatry residency at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Dr Yang is currently a Bravewell Fellow in the Program of Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona led by Dr Andrew Weil.
Dr Yang is a fourth generation practitioner and teacher of traditional Chinese medicine. He had authored numerous peer-reviewed articles and spoken in national and international conferences and academic institutes. Dr. Yang currently practices integrative psychiatry and medicine at the Jefferson Mryna Brind Center of Integrative Medicine at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, and with other licensed acupuncturists at Tao Institute of Mind and Body Medicine in Mt Laurel, New Jersey, utilizing acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, neuro-emotional techniques, nutritional and dietary consultation in addition to psychotherapy and medication management.
