About Janet Culp
As a highly effective hands-on manual therapist, Janet responds to and treats each person as a unique individual, creating a customized blend of specialized and innovative techniques to accomplish getting clients out of pain as quickly as possible. She specializes in structural problems, including musculoskeletal and neurological pain.

As a licensed Acupuncturist, Herbalist and CranioVisceral Therapist, Janet provides the finest quality complementary health care, derived from over 30 years of study, training and practice within the fields of bodywork and manual therapy, and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Janet received a Masters Degree in TCM from Five Branches University and Clinic of TCM in Santa Cruz, California. Other studies in Chinese Medicine were undertaken at Zhe Jiang College in Hang Zhou, China, as part of a student exchange program at Five Branches Institute. Janet has treated clients from as far away as Monterey , San Jose, Los Gatos and the greater San Francisco Bay Area.
Janet had been a practicing Certified Massage Therapist for 16 years, before beginning her studies in Chinese medicine in 1999. For the past ten years, her practice and studies focused on, not only the art and practice of Acupuncture and Herbal medicine, but primarily within the fields of Structural Integration, Cranial Sacral Therapy and Visceral Manipulation. During this time, Janet co-developed a specialized needling technique which is used within the context of traditional meridian therapy.
Major practices and trainings over the past 40 years, in the field of meditative movement include, Hatha (physical) Yoga, Continuum© (Breath, Sound and Micro-Movement Awareness), Integrative Yoga Therapy©, Dance, Tai Chi Chuan and Qi Gong. |
