About Li Du
Dr. Li Du, TCMD, is a licensed acupuncturist in the state of Georgia. She is a former professor in Oriental Medicine at the School of Georgia and a board member of the Traditional Chinese Medicine Association of Georgia.
Dr. Du has practiced acupuncture, and Chinese Herbal Medicine.Tui Na(combination of acupressure and medical massage) for 22 years.
Dr. Du graduated from TianJin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China where she studied both TCM and Western biomedicine. She has 14 years of working experience at the outstanding China National Acupuncture Research Center Hospital, which is noted internationally for treating apoplexy with acupuncture. During her 14 years at this hospital, she participated in numerous Chinese medicine research studies treating stroke, paralysis, prostatitis, gastritis, and colitis patients with acupuncture and Chinese herb medicine. In addition, she also served as a lead Doctor in Traditional Chinese Medicine and worked extensively in acupuncture, internal medicine, and gynecology.
Dr. Du has published research papers on topics as diverse as: Treating Chronic Gastritis with TCM; treating Stroke with Acupuncture; Treatment of Migraines with TCM; Treatment of Chronic Fatigue Syndrome with TCM; and Treatment of Prostatitis with Acupuncture. |
