About Sohee Lee
Adela (Sohee) Lee is a certified acupuncturist and herbalist licensed by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with a Master’s degree of Science in Oriental Medicine (MSOM). She founded Adela Acupuncture and Herb in Flushing, New York and provides various therapies and medical techniques.
As a practitioner of Oriental medicine, she believes that good health can be maintained by strengthening the body’s natural healing power. So, she puts great emphasis on synthetic and various approaches to the patients in her practice.
Among the diverse treatments she employs, magnetic therapy is one of the most remarkable ones in her practice. The polarity of the magnet has a positive effect on the human body depending on how it is applied.
She also believes that many physical problems are caused by diverse undesirable states of mind such as anxiety, anger, depression, sorrow, greed, fear, etc. In this regard, she applies yoga, meditation and tai chi in her practice in efforts to restore the impaired balance of body and mind of the patient.
