About Yaping Zhang
Dr. Yaping Zhang received her medical degree in 1983 from Heilogjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. She also received her Master degree and Ph.D. in Chinese medicine and gynecology from Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine in China. She trained in western medicine in Shanghai Medical University and Harbin Medical University in China.
She was a Professor and Medical Director of Department of Gynecology in First Training Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Dr. Zhang is currently a Professor of acupuncture and herbology at the American College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Yaping Zhang has practiced medicine for over 26 years in the fields of acupuncture and Chinese herbs. She is an author of more than 30 papers, books and publications related to Chinese medicine throughout her career.
She has a vast background in both western and Chinese medicine with her compassion and concern for patients, she is dedicated to providing effective and exceptional care.
