About Cristi DeMarco
- Board certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine, licensed in Maine and Massachusetts
- Completed a 5-level, 1.5 year certification in Craniosacral Therapy
- Completed a one-year post-graduate internship with a Chinese medical doctor in Boston focusing on Chinese Herbal Medicine
- In September of 2007, Cristi spent 4 weeks at the Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine studying Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine in the Gynecology, Pediatric, Internal Medicine, and Bi Syndrome (arthritis/auto-immune disease) departments
- Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, Cristi worked in the mental health field. Her work experience includes children with behavioral and emotional disorders and women with eating disorders
- In February 2006 Cristi volunteered in New Orleans with Acupuncturists Without Borders and now serves as Secretary on the Board of Directors
