About George Mandler
George Mandler is a Licensed Dietitian, Licensed Acupuncturist and Certified Chinese Herbalist. The focus of his practice is on digestive disorders, however it may be that all imbalances have an underlying digestive issue. For example - arthritic pain, fibromyalgia, migraines, eczema, psoriasis, fatigue,and insomnia may all have a root cause of improper digestion or diet. Having been practicing nutrition for over 15 years he does believe the adage that all disease begins in the gut. He supports his patients by modifying their diet appropriate to their constitution or condition and uses acupuncture to speed the process. He finds that patient’s with balanced diets respond more favorably to acupuncture treatments and stay healthier in the long run.
George holds Master’s degrees from the New England School of Acupuncture (NESA), University of New Haven, and Boston University. He is on faculty at NESA teaching the 3rd year Chinese nutrition course. He is also an assistant instructor at Harvard Medical School supporting Kiiko Matsumoto and David Euler teach the “Kiiko” style CE course “Acupuncture for Physicians”.
