About Fuyiu Yip

Classical "True" Acupuncture is about taking care of, listening to,
and understanding the individual in his/her current state of health,
and not about the application of theoretical protocols.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Individuals searching through these pages are often wondering, “How can acupuncture help me?” “What does acupuncture treat?" "What can Chinese herbs do for me?" "How do I choose an acupuncturist?” “What is Cosmetic Acupuncture "facelift", Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture or facial acupuncture?”

It is understandably time consuming to sift through all the information, but educating oneself is a great step in taking control of one's own health.

Classical True Acupuncture and Chinese herbs provide safe and natural treatments for numerous conditions -- such as pain management, infertility, menopause, allergies, depression, sports medicine, weight loss, skin problems, and digestive disorders, -- as well as a means to maintain one's health.

All of us as patients want to be treated as the unique individual that we are, right? Well, while there are many forms and styles of acupuncture and each one has its place, not all forms and styles of acupuncture are created equal. Fuyiu Yip, L.Ac. was trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), but sought to find the "missing link" -- the truly individualistic approach to the ancient art of acupuncture -- that TCM did not offer. She extended her practice into a more classical form called True Acupuncture as described by George Soulie de Morant.

Classical True Acupuncture is a point by point study of an individual’s energetic responses to each needle, in other words, an understanding of how one needle affects the body before adding another in order to yield the most beneficial results for the patient. Fuyiu relies on detailed pulse taking & precise point location to maximize therapeutic results for the patient with minimal number of needles and treatments.

With a Chinese herbal pharmacy of high quality raw herbs, Fuyiu provides custom Chinese herbal formulas to further support one's health concerns. The raw herb formulas are dispensed in a form that yields maximum potency and effectiveness, yet is convenient and easy to prepare, unlike the typical 'soak the herbs, cook, strain, cook again, strain, and drink' method.

Facial acupuncture techniques also offer a means to address each individual's energetic imbalances that further the aging process and provide natural alternatives to botox, chemical peels, and surgery. Wouldn't you like to look younger in a safe, non-invasive, and natural way?
