About Don Matesz
I want to share some facts about effective, and cost-effective acupuncture with you.
Experience has proven that if you don't get treatments often enough, or for enough total sessions, you will get little or no improvement in health. This is because acupuncture works along the same lines as exercise, stimulating your body to change itself. To get dramatic results from exercise, you need to do it two or three times per week, and for 12 or more weeks in a row.
Thousands of years of experience and modern research have shown that acupuncture also works best when applied two to three times weekly (especially in the initial stages). If the condition only recently appeared, you may only need a few treatments, but most chronic conditions require 10 to 30 treatments for resolution (some really deep seated stubborn conditions may require more). Once you achieve your health goal, you may need no treatment, or only tune-ups now and then.
Many acupuncturists charge $60 or more for one session, so you would pay at least $120 per week and $600 to $1800 for a successful course of treatment. Very few insurers pay for this so it will come out of your pocket.
At Barefoot Acupuncture Clinic, I make high quality acupuncture and natural medicine affordable. At your first visit, you pay a one-time $15 fee to set up your file, and for the actual treatment, you pay $30, similar to many insurance co-pays.
So, at Barefoot Acupuncture you can get three treatments per week for less than what many providers charge for one! A successful course of 10 treatments can cost as little as $300, likely less than one-third of what you would pay somewhere else.
