About Elizabeth Fellows
I came to acupuncture as a patient in 1998 with a severe flareup of my lifelong asthma that had me visiting the ER regularly. I felt some relief from the first treatment, and after several treatments was breathing so much better that I was hooked!
A few years later, having given up all of my allergy and asthma medications and breathing with ease, I started wondering what else I could do with my life. It may have also had something to do with turning 40 -- an early mid-life evaluation, perhaps?
I decided to run a marathon. Crazy thinking for someone who had never been athletic and had been too sickly as a child to play sports. I trained for six months and I did it. It felt so good (well, once my feet stopped hurting) that I did it three more times that same year!
And then I wondered what else I could do with my life. I had been volunteering with an organization that helps homeless women, and I really felt that I wanted to be more "hands-on" in my paid work. So, after a successful career in fundraising, I went back to school as a 40-something.
Now I am a practicing acupuncturist and holistic health counselor. I welcome clients of all ages (my youngest patient is 3 years old, and my most senior is 70). I treat both men and women. I welcome each person to come in, be comfortable, and to be fully seen, heard and accepted exactly as you are.
Healing is a partnership. I welcome the opportunity to be your partner in health and vitality.
