About Sami Rank
Sami encourages each patient to adapt a lifestyle most suitable towards realizing one’s greatest potential.
She maintains that the goal of healing is to have the highest quality of life while in this body. In addition to employing the ancient techniques of acupuncture and herbal medicine, Sami specializes in nutritional analysis and the sacred movements of Qi Gong, Yoga (Hatha & Kundalini styles), and meditation. She is a Reiki third degree practitioner.
Sami has been an avid practitioner of martial arts, yoga, dance, and gymnastics, for over 25 years. She began teaching yoga and qi gong in 2000. Prior to embarking on the journey of Chinese Medicine, she wrote and helped produce animation for Hanna-Barbera and Universal Cartoons. She holds a BA in theatre from the University of Southern California, and an MS in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University, both in Los Angeles, CA.
