About Kevin Luo
Kevin Luo is licensed as an Acupuncturist in both Texas (AC00961) and California (AC11701). He is also currently certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) as a Diplomate of Oriental Medicine.
Kevin received his M.S. degree from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco, California. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor of Science degree from National Chiao-Tung University in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
Kevin integrates both his love of the ancient Chinese medical texts and the logical analysis from his engineering background to his practice of Chinese medicine, providing the best of the oriental and the western worlds.
Prior to relocating to Austin, Texas, Kevin practiced at the ACTCM Community Clinic, the ACTCM Auricular Clinic, and the Stroke Project in Rehabilitation Center at California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, California.
In addition to his years of training at ACTCM, Kevin also studied the classical Chinese medical texts Huang Di Nei Jing, Shang Han Lun and Wen Bing with Dr. Aide Men, a renowned Chinese Medicine practitioner in California.
Fluent in both English and Chinese, Kevin is a translator and editor at the People’s Medical Publishing House (PMPH) in Beijing, China’s leading publisher in biomedicine and Chinese medicine. He has also translated literature for medical practices such as San Francisco Perinatal Associates, Inc. |
