About Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine Center

You may know that Traditional Chinese Medicine is thousands of years old. It has survived as a viable medicine for many reasons. One of the most important is that is works!

In America's changing healthcare environment, it is essential to empower yourself with options.

The Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine Center of Sarah and Sig Hauer is one of those options.

Treating holistically has been a hallmark of Sarah and Sig Hauer’s acupuncture and herbal medicine practice. Body, mind and spirit are inextricably combined and viewed as parts of the whole. Sarah and Sig embrace this holistic perspective of health and excel in successfully treating physical manifestations of pain and dis-ease.

Sarah and Sig Hauer find that acute conditions can be resolved in a couple of visits, while chronic conditions usually respond with slow steady progress.

The Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine Center uses many modalities including:

  • Acupuncture
  • Chinese Herbal Medicine
  • Oriental Bodywork
  • Nutritional Support
  • Lifestyle Help
To develop a firm diagnosis of your individual pattern, your acupuncturist will conduct an extensive interview on your first visit. Sarah and Sig also use tongue and pulse as important diagnostic tools. While acupuncture does involve needles that are fine, thin flexible that would better be described as 'filaments'. Gentle mindful placement makes the experience virtually painless. For your safety, only sterile single use needles are used at the Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine Center.
