About Jim Burnis
Jim Burnis, M.Ac., Dipl. Ac. is a licensed Acupuncturist who practices in Gold Canyon, Arizona. Jim earned his Masters of Science Degree in Acupuncture from The Phoenix Institute of Herbal Medicine and Acupuncture, an accredited four-year graduate program in Phoenix, Arizona. He received his Diplomate in Acupuncture from the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and completed a post-graduate internship at the Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Chengdu, China. Jim's undergraduate work includes a Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University and technical training in Medical Imaging.
The analytical approach of Traditional Chinese Medicine is my primary tool for diagnosis and treatment, however, I do utilize Five-Element, meridian therapy, trigger point therapy, the balance method, and auricular therapy as necessary.
My focus is and will remain one on one personalized attention and treatment; the very serene desert location adds to the healing environment.
