Ruijuan Liu is a licensed acupuncturist and herbologist certified by National Certification Commission of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Dr. Liu has a medical background and an abundance of experiences in Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) as well as western medicine.
- She worked as a medical doctor for fourteen years in Xi-Yuan Hospital of The Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which is the most prestigious TCM research institute/hospital in China.
- She graduated from the best TCM University in China - Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine with a medical doctorate degree in 1987.
- She was chosen to be trained in the traditional method of "Learning from Top Traditional Chinese Medicine Experts Program" from1997 to 2000, which was certified by the China Ministry of Health and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
- She is the author of 4 TCM books and has more than 10 articles published on distinguished TMC magazines.
