About Patricia Hallam
The major focus of my practice is in the area of women's health. Having personally experienced the power of Chinese medicine in this arena myself, I find a great deal of satisfaction in helping women of all ages, from adolescence through post-menopause, to alleviate many conditions unique to women, such as PMS, menstrual disorders, PCOS, chronic yeast infection, infertility, morning sickness and other pregnancy-related discomfort, and menopause-related symptoms.
In addition to women's health issues, I also enjoy working with patients who have a wide-variety of other health challenges, from asthma, allergies and other autoimmune-related diseases, to digestive disorders, acute and chronic pain, mild to moderate depression or anxiety, insomnia and other stress-related illnesses. In addition to acupuncture and herbal medicine, I combine other oriental healing arts such as Jin Shin Do (an acupressure technique), Zen Shiatsu massage, Taoist breathing techniques, and qigong, to create a treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.
