About Valencie Exceus
Valencie Exceus, A.P., D.O.M is an Acupuncture Physician and Doctor of Oriental Medicine licensed by the state of Florida and certified through the NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine). Valencie attended Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine, located in Fort Lauderdale, FL, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine. Valencie is also a member of FSOMA (Florida State Oriental Medicine Association).
As a former Health Advisor for Life Extension Foundation, a nutraceutical and anti-aging research organization, Valencie consulted with an average of 200 members on a weekly basis via the telephone. Valencie reviewed blood work and gave advice on natural treatments for specific diseases and disorders, including hormone restoration therapy. As a Health Advisor, Valencie also discussed various health concerns and gave advice on necessary vitamins and supplements. Valencie has lectured on conventional and alternative therapies Parasites, Therapeutic Usage of Amino Acids, and HIV and catabolic wasting.
Valencie has completed the NADA (National Acupuncture Detoxification Association) Auricular Therapy for Drug Detoxification at the Lincoln Recovery Center in Bronx, NY. She is also certified to use Acupuncture Injection with homeopathic formulas.
Valencie strongly believes that healing is achieved by treating the root cause of the condition while addressing the manifesting symptoms. Valencie understands and has respect for other forms of medicine; she is able to work collaboratively with other physicians to best meet the health needs of her patients. |
