About Robert Fueston
National and State Certified Acupuncturist and Internationally known Reiki Master/Teacher
Robert is Nationally Board Certified in Oriental Medicine through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is a certified Acupuncturist by the Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure. Robert is also a member of the American Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (AAAOM). He started studying Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine in 1999. Robert has earned two master degrees, a Master of Science in Oriental Medicine (2003) from Southwest Acupuncture College and a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina (1999).
Before studying Acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine, he was trained in Reiki (1996). He has become internationally known in the Reiki community as a Reiki Master and Reiki historian. Robert teaches the traditional Japanese form of Reiki (Usui Reiki Ryoho). His Reiki travels have taken him all over the United States, Canada, and to Europe. Robert's mission is to provide quality, in depth, traditional Reiki training and professional Reiki treatments at his practice. Every month he holds a Reiki share for his students where they can share experiences and practice Reiki on each other.
Some of Robert’s research into the history of Reiki has been published in The Reiki Sourcebook by Frans and Bronwen Stiene. Robert's interview with these two authors can be listened to at http://www.reiki.net.au/copy.asp?id=PodcastRobert. Reiki Master Amy Rowland also interviewed Robert for her book, Intuitive Reiki for Our Times.
Robert enjoys making people laugh while sticking them with needles. His sense of humor is appreciated by many of his patients. |
