As a young man, I began my journey in the healing arts by being a "barefoot doctor" in Kunming, China, walking many miles every month and treating hundreds of farmers and their families. I continued my formal education at Yunnan College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, receiving Master's and Traditional Chinese Medicine Doctor (TCMD) degrees, with special emphasis in the areas of internal medicine, pharmacology, and Tui-Na massage. I came to the US in 1996, and have been a teacher and practitioner of traditional Chinese medicine for more than 30 years now.
Health conditions I treat include pain control for low back pain, neck and shoulder pain, joint pain, headaches, carpel tunnel syndrome, sciatic pain, TMJ, etc; I also have a lot of experiences in dealing with: menopausal symptoms, skin conditions, male infertility, weight loss, cosmetic acupuncture, anxiety and insomnia, stroke, bell's palsy, peripheral neuropathy. |
