About Steve Compton
Steve has been practicing traditional Asian medicine since 1998. In addition to Riverpath Clinic, he is currently an acupuncture clinic supervisor at Courage Center Residence in Golden Valley, and an adjunct faculty member at the Minnesota College of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Northwestern Health Science University in Bloomington. Steve is a network acupuncture provider for Health Partners, Cigna, and Preferred One insurance.
Personal Statement
My practice is rooted in Asian bodywork and informed by an energetic understanding of the human body and health. In the clinic I may use a variety of techniques including bodywork, acupuncture, qigong, electro-therapy and herbal medicine as well as make dietary and lifestyle recommendations. The aim is to stimulate a return to balance, health and well-being.
