Gloria Moreira, Dipl. Ac., a licensed and Board Certified Acupuncture Physician is in practice where she offers integrative holistic health services to the community, including:

Her specialty is in the area of women's gynecological and reproductive issues and has enjoyed much success in helping women achieve pregnancy either naturally or through support therapies during ART.
Working in an integrated clinical setting allows her to create very specific treatment plans for her patients using the best of Western and Eastern medical systems for both diagnosis and treatment.

Gloria Moreira obtained a Master’s in Oriental Medicine from Acupuncture and Massage College in Miami. Upon graduation, Gloria received the Dr. Louisa Beatty Award due to her excellent academic qualifications and her caring attitude towards patients and her colleagues.
Dr. Moreira's philosophy is embodied by her statement:
"Your body is an elegant system which will send you signals and signs to help identify imbalances. When these are addressed and corrected, the natural tendency toward health and harmony can be achieved."
What to Expect on Your First Visit:
For fertility issues, both partners are highly encouraged to attend the initial consultation. Given that 40-60% of fertility issues can be associated with male factor, this is of utmost importance.
You will receive a very thorough health intake including a skillful examination of the pulse and tongue. Once she has arrived at identification of a patient's individual pattern of imbalance, Dr. Moreira administers the first treatment using acupuncture and other healing modalities. Thereafter, she presents a personalized treatment plan including short and long term goals to help bring the body back into balance in order to achieve health goals.
Gloria Moreira is a frequent speaker and teacher on varied topics dealing with natural healing techniques and integrative medicine. She has appeared on several local radio talk show, CNN Newsmakers, and local Cable-TV spots educating the public on this ancient and powerful medicine. She is currently teaching various courses on the use of natural medicine to treat various health conditions at Miami-Dade Community College Kendall Campus.
