About Farrar Celada
Farrar Celada, A.P., D.O.M., Dipl. Ac. is a licensed Acupuncture Physician specializing in the treatment of pregnancy-related conditions, infertility and pain management with acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. She holds a Master's Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences from the Florida College of Integrative Medicine in Orlando, Florida. Additionally, her undergraduate training includes a psychology background from University of Alabama--Birmingham and her post-graduate training was performed at Shandong University of TCM in Shandong, China.
After passage of the National Commission of the Certification of Oriental Medicine national acupuncture board exam in May of 2001, Dr. Celada founded Florida Complete Wellness, Inc., a company specializing in contracting with other healthcare clinics for acupuncture services. After working with other physicians in the Miami area, she opened her office in Broward County in early 2004 to meet the needs of patients requiring more personalized treatment in a tranquil atmosphere.
Dr. Celada holds a past faculty position at her alma mater, the Florida College of Integrative Medicine, and is a professional member of the Florida State Oriental Medical Association, RESOLVE (the National Infertility Association), DONA (Doulas of North America) and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM). She has worked with numerous patients since 1997 as both an intern and a practitioner, noting dramatic improvements when treating infertility with Chinese medicine. This led her to specialize in the treatment of gynecological conditions using acupuncture and herbal medicine. Along with infertility, she also specializes in the acupuncture treatment of conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, PMS, immune system dysfunctions, pregnancy support and various musculoskeletal disorders.
