About Traditional Chinese Medical College of Hawaii
The TCMCH Teaching Clinic provides an optimal setting for the clinical training of our student interns. The Clinic was completely renovated in 2000. Our new Treatment, Conference and Herbal Pharmacy/Clinic Reception rooms provide a pleasant and professional setting in which our patients are treated by student interns under faculty supervision. Treatment Rooms, Conference Room and Pharmacy all share a beautiful view of park, stream and green hills that provide a truly healing environment for our patients and a restful setting for students and faculty.
Bright and cheerful treatment rooms provide a superb working environment for interns and supervisors as well as a comfortable healing place for patients. A well equipped Conference Room provides privacy for interns and supervisors to discuss a patient’s diagnosis and treatment plan. The Conference Room also serves as a small classroom and it provides a comfortable break room for interns at lunch time and between patients.
The Teaching Clinic is presently open three days each week - Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. The Clinic is open from 9 am to 6 pm, a schedule that makes the Clinic available to all who wish to use its services. As a community service, the cost to patients is kept low, a pricing structure that also ensures an ample supply of patients and so provides our student interns with a wide variety of clinical experiences.
The interns are supervised by expert licensed senior clinicians. Discount price is $30. Custom herb preparations and bottled herbs available. |
