About Kate Pagliasotti
I bring over 20 years experience as a dancer and bodyworker to my approach as an acupuncturist. I received my Master's Degree in Acupuncture in New York state at the Tri-State College of Acupuncture and practiced in New York City and the lower Hudson valley until relocating to Portland in 2006.
At TSCA, I was trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Japanese Acupuncture through Kiiko Matsumoto, Five Element Acupuncture, and the hands-on, meridian approach of Dr. Mark Seem - a style particularly suited to freeing the bodymind of age-old "holding patterns" and constraint. This approach is fantastic for treating tendino-muscular and orthopedic issues, and is very useful to athletes, dancers, yoga practitioners, bodyworkers and the like. I have also undergone a two-year mentorship with Five Element master practitioner Lorie Dechar, and continue to filter this approach into my work, particularly in treating psycho-emotional issues.

I am happy to be sharing an office with Dr. Anne Prescott, Chiropractor and Massage Therapist, and Melissa Framiglio, certified instructor of Gyrotonic. |
